An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming and wellregarded primary school in Ealing. This is a fulltime permanent role starting in September 2025 ideal for a passionate practitioner who thrives in a collaborative childcentred environment.

As a Year 1 Class Teacher you will be instrumental in helping children make the important transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1. Youll deliver highquality engaging lessons that build confidence curiosity and strong foundational skills.
Youll be part of a supportive year group team and work closely with your parallel class teacher and teaching assistant to plan assess and differentiate effectively for all learners.
The ideal candidate will be:
A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers are welcomed)
Confident in teaching Key Stage 1 with a strong understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and the importance of early literacy and numeracy
Knowledgeable in phonics (e.g. Read Write Inc. Letters and Sounds or similar schemes)
A proactive and reflective practitioner with a commitment to personal and professional development
Strong in behaviour management and classroom organisation with the ability to create a positive and structured learning environment
Skilled at building effective relationships with pupils staff and families
A friendly inclusive school community with a strong sense of purpose
Enthusiastic wellbehaved children who love learning
A collaborative staff team with shared planning and mutual support
