About the Role:

An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Ealing is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to students with special educational needs. Working closely with teachers and SENCOs, you will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning experience for all students.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with additional learning needs.
  • Assist in adapting lesson materials to meet individual student needs.
  • Help create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external specialists to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support students’ social and emotional development, encouraging confidence and independence.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Who We’re Looking For:
  • Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting (preferred but not essential).
  • A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting children with diverse learning needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A willingness to learn and take part in professional development opportunities.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
