Job summary

KONE is seeking aspiring Escalator Engineers in the UK to join a structured training pathway and develop into skilled industry professionals.

You'll work alongside qualified engineers to learn fault-finding, diagnostics, inspections and safe, high-quality escalator maintenance. The program supports NVQ Level 3 qualification and long-term career growth within a global leader.

Qualifications

• Practical mechanical, electrical or maintenance experience.
• Relevant tools, technical knowledge and hands-on ability.
• Safety-conscious and customer-focused approach.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Motivation to achieve an NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Lift or escalator experience would be helpful, but transferable experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support escalator servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Develop fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Complete inspections and minor repairs.
• Follow KONE’s safety and quality standards.
• Build positive relationships with customers and site teams.
• Complete training and assessments towards an NVQ Level 3 qualification.
