Job summary

KONE is seeking aspiring Escalator Engineers in the United Kingdom for a trainee role that builds a long-term career in the lift and escalator industry. You will work with qualified engineers, develop fault-finding and diagnostic skills, and complete inspections and minor repairs while following safety standards.

This structured training leads toward an NVQ Level 3 qualification, with support and mentoring, and opportunities to progress into technical or leadership roles within a global leader

Qualifications

• As an improver or part-qualified engineer you may have practical mechanical, electrical or maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of tools, technical ability and hands-on skills are valued.
• A safety-conscious and customer-focused approach is required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Motivation to achieve an NVQ Level 3 qualification.
