Exciting Fashion Retail Opportunities – Braintree Pop-Up Store (12-Month Fixed Term)

We are looking for driven, passionate individuals with fashion retail experience to join our team at our new pop-up fashion retail store in Braintree for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting and dynamic team, working together to drive sales, deliver exceptional customer service, and create meaningful connections with clients.

You’ll join the team just ahead of our store launch to get fully trained, prepared, and ready to welcome customers from day one.

Please Note:

This is a confidential role at the moment. While we can't share the brand just yet, trust us—it's an exciting opportunity in the fashion retail sector! We will reveal more as soon as possible, and we believe you'll be thrilled to learn more about who we are.

• Assistant Store Manager – 40 hours/week
• Supervisor – 40 hours/week
• Keyholder – 40 hours/week
• Sales Associate – 40 hours, 32 hours, or 16 hours/week

These roles are ideal for candidates with fashion retail backgrounds who are eager to join a growing, innovative team. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for fashion, excellent customer service skills, and the drive to create a fantastic in-store experience.

Responsibilities for all roles include:

• Working as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service and sales support
• Building strong relationships with clients, anticipating their needs, and offering tailored recommendations
• Maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and store organization, both on the shop floor and in stockrooms
• Representing the brand by sharing product knowledge and offering an outstanding experience to customers
• Assisting with after-sales services, including product care, customisation, and returns
• Adhering to store security procedures, including loss prevention and cash handling (for Keyholder role)
• Participating in stock audits and assisting with inventory management
• Supporting with recruitment, training, and team operations (for Assistant Store Manager role)

Specific Responsibilities:

Assistant Store Manager:

• Partner with the Store Manager to drive store performance, sales, and deliver customer service excellence
• Lead by example, creating a client-focused environment while achieving sales targets and KPI
• Oversee daily store operations, including staff scheduling, inventory control, and performance reporting
• Assist in recruiting, training, and managing team members
• Help coordinate in-store events and promotions
• Assist in the daily management of store operations, ensuring smooth operations and high standards are maintained
• Support the Assistant Store Manager in driving sales and customer service initiatives
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service

Keyholder:

• Take responsibility for opening and closing the store, ensuring smooth operations and security
• Assist with sales and customer service while maintaining store standards
• Support the management team with stock management and client relations
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
• Engage with customers, building rapport, and driving sales through exceptional product knowledge and service
• Cross-sell across product categories and provide tailored recommendations
• Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained and assist with stock replenishment
• Offer after-sales services, product care advice, and support customers with their needs
• Stay up to date with local trends and events to engage with clients

• Have fashion retail experience and a strong desire to learn and develop product knowledge
• Are motivated to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service
• Are team players with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a positive, proactive attitude and enjoy problem-solving
• Are flexible, able to manage time effectively, and stay calm under pressure
