THE ROLE

The Deputy Manager partners with the Location Manager to drive business, achieve KPIs, and coach the team to excellence. Responsible for the store's operational success in the Manager's absence, and an ambassador for Ted's Mission Statement and Vision.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maximize sales potential through resource management, leadership, and motivation.
  • Recruit, train, and motivate the team, adapting behavior to bring out the best and uphold brand values.
  • Ensure high standards of store presentation and product knowledge, providing performance feedback to the Store Manager.
  • Reflect brand values with integrity, fairness, enthusiasm, and passion.
  • Identify and resolve problems promptly, using feedback for solutions.
  • Maintain knowledge of store performance and local market opportunities.
  • Follow policies, complete administrative tasks accurately, and support store systems and processes.
  • Collaborate on risk management, security, cash controls, and inventory management.
  • Embrace digital initiatives to support sales and brand profile.
