At Home Instead Shrewsbury, we’re proud to support older people living in Wem and the surrounding villages to stay happy, independent, and comfortable in their own homes.

Since 2013, we’ve been building strong connections across Shropshire, with care rooted in kindness, respect, and genuine companionship. With minimum one-hour visits, we make sure there’s always time to deliver care properly – never rushed.

Responsibilities

No two days are the same, but your role may include:

  • Taking a client into Wem town for a coffee, the market, or a trip to the shops
  • Supporting with medication or mobility around the home
  • Helping with meal preparation and light household tasks
  • Offering personal care with dignity and respect
  • Or simply providing companionship and a listening ear

  • Kindness, reliability, and a genuine wish to help others
  • No formal qualifications needed – we’ll provide full training
