JOB MISSION: Based within our Flimby office, we offer a flexible approach to working hours. We offer a 4-day working week, consolidating full-time working hours between Monday to Thursday to promote a healthy work-life balance.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:- Work in partnership with Global HR Value Chain and Flimby Site Leadership to shape, develop, and deliver HR plans and solutions aligned with business needs and priorities.
- Collaborate with Global HR Value Chain in developing and rolling out the HR Strategic Plan.
- Provide strategic input to support decision-making at senior levels on site.
- Act as a change agent, supporting leaders in managing organizational change.
- Lead workforce planning and organizational design, working with Training, Operations, and Leadership to identify future capability and skills requirements and develop succession plans.
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes from planning to onboarding.
- Oversee training functions.
- Support Global Talent Development with the People Pay Performance process, ensuring learning and development needs are met and fostering a culture of learning.
- Communicate clear policies and practices on employment matters.
- Ensure consistent application of employment legislation.
- Provide coaching and advice on employee relations issues.
- Lead internal site communications, chair the Joint Consultative Committee, and participate in Town Halls.
- Model NB values and behaviors, champion DE&I, community connection, and wellbeing activities, and act as an HR ambassador.
- Develop programs to enhance employee relations and engagement, such as recognition and community activities.
- Lead and participate in HR and cross-functional projects.
- Oversee HRIS (Workday).
- Report HR KPIs to Leadership Team and Global Value Chain.
- Lead and manage HR direct reports, coaching and mentoring for performance.
- Collaborate with HR team to manage issues like absence, headcount, and employee relations.
- Provide hands-on operational HR support.
Profile
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:- Educated to Degree level or with related experience.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it.
- Significant HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record in stakeholder partnership and results delivery.
- Experience in organizational design, development, and change management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK Employment Law.
- Proficiency in HR Software; Workday experience is advantageous.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Ability to gain credibility at a senior level and provide valued insights.
