Qualifications

Job Vacancy: Staffordshire Cricket Women’s Team Assistant Coach

Staffordshire Women’s Cricket is on the rise – and we’re looking for a dynamic Assistant Coach to join our talented team and push our performance to the next level.

As a Tier 3 Division 1 team with a strong tradition of developing high performing female cricketers, we’re investing in the future – and you could be a key part of it.

· Be part of an experienced, ambitious coaching setup

· Work with high-potential players

· Play a leading role in shaping competitive, exciting cricket that inspires

· Help drive our charge to win the 50-over and T20 leagues – and make a mark in the County Cup

What You’ll Be Doing

· Deliver high-quality coaching at weekend matchdays midweek summer training, and the winter programme

· Lead development of all-round skills or specialist bowling performance

· Collaborate with the Head Coach and wider coaching team to refine individual and squad development plans

· Work with CAG, Head of Performance and club coaches to support and align talent development pathways

· Help create a high-performing, inclusive, and enjoyable team culture

Who are we looking for?

· ECB Level 2 qualified (ideally working towards or already L3 Advanced Coach)

· Experienced in coaching women and girls at county, club, or performance level

· High level commitment to fixtures and training, throughout the year. Overnight stays are required for some weekend fixtures.

· A great communicator who brings energy, positivity, and structure to sessions

· Passionate about female player development and understanding of the Women's Domestic Pathway

· Current DBS, First Aid & Safeguarding (or willing to get them)

· Motivated, resilient, and ready to make a real impact on and off the pitch
