Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist SEMH school in Oxfordshire that supports pupils with social, emotional, and mental health needs. The school is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 7 teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to Year 7 students with SEMH needs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Work closely with the SENCO, pastoral team, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Implement effective behaviour management strategies and personalised learning approaches.
  • Take part in wider school activities and enrichment opportunities.
  • Ability to deliver KS3 Science or willingness to develop this area.
  • Experience in alternative provision, PRUs, or SEMH settings (desirable but not essential).
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and restorative approaches.
