About the Job

The Quality Technician will uphold the quality standards of our company and inspect incoming and outgoing goods to ensure the finished products meet our customers' quality expectations. As this role will be within a small team, flexibility and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Tasks and responsibilities include:

• Complete visual and dimensional inspection of finished parts and incoming goods.
• Build specific reports for customers (e.g., ISIR, FAIR, PPAPs).
• Perform first-off inspections from the production department (visual and dimensional as required).
• Support Quality Engineers with customer rejections as needed.
• Create and submit rejections for incoming goods.
• Record process scrap data.
• Assist with order dispatch and collections.
• Create and manage concession forms and customer order requests.
• Ensure equipment calibration within Quality and Production departments.
• Support Purchasing and Finance with stock and inventory management as needed.
• Complete production documentation accurately and thoroughly.

The ideal candidate

• Minimum GCSE Grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent); proficient in MS Office programs.
• Experience in a quality-focused role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated and resourceful.

Applicants must have proof of right to work in the UK and be able to work onsite in Bridgwater.
