What We Are Looking For

Job Description

Working as part of the Programmes Team, the Project Manager will be responsible for delivering and executing projects to meet the requirements across defence sector programmes within the UK and internationally. The role involves driving project activities, managing resources, and ensuring all business needs are met. The Project Manager will serve as the main contact for the customer and coordinate project activities, working closely with the Project Controller and Head of Programmes to record and report project data.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Key responsibilities include:

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop plans, timelines, and resource requirements; ensure quality and compliance.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies and subcontractors; maintain communication channels.
• Risk Management: Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, ensure security classifications are met.
• Budget and Resource Management: Monitor budgets, manage resources, implement Earned Value Management.
• Technical Oversight: Collaborate with engineering teams on hardware and software solutions; manage technical queries.
• Compliance: Ensure project delivery meets scope, regulations, and certifications.
