Job summary

A respected architectural practice in Harrogate is seeking a Project Architect/Architectural Technologist to work on Industrial and Distribution projects. The candidate will manage the development of ideas with clients, prepare design proposals, and produce planning applications. To qualify, candidates should have over 5 years of post-qualification experience, strong proficiency in Revit, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience post qualification.
• Demonstrable Job Runner experience.
• Experience in producing construction working drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop ideas with the client to establish the brief.
• Prepare feasibility studies and design proposals for the client.

Overview

Project Architect/ Architectural Technologist — We are looking for a Job Runner to work in this well respected Practice. The role will be focused on Industrial and Distribution projects from the early stages of developing ideas with the client to establish brief, preparing feasibility studies and design proposals to the client, producing submitting planning applications, detailed working drawings and working closely with contractors.

Requirements

• RIBA / ARB
• Demonstrable Job Runner experience and used to dealing with the demands of key clients
• 5+ years experience post qualification
• Varied sector experience including Commercial, Logistics and/or Retail
• Experience in producing construction working drawings
• Good working knowledge of current Building Regs and NBS Create
• Good understanding of BIM methodologies and to be Revit proficient
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
