Overview

Disabled lady in Winchburgh looking for female personal assistants to support her with personal care, social inclusion and light housework.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities as needed.
• Support social inclusion and community participation.
• Assist with light housework as part of daily routines.

Requirements and Qualifications

• No experience needed as training will be provided.
• Must have some common sense.
• A driver willing to use their own vehicle during work is preferred.
• Knowledge of first aid would be useful.
• Must either have membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme or be willing to join (employer will cover this cost).

Details

• Rate of pay: £12.60 per hour.
• Hours: 20 hours per week; post can be filled by one person for the full 20 hours or by two people sharing the 20 hours.
• Schedule: support every weekday; usually between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday plus Friday mornings; typical shift length is four hours per day. If two people share ten hours each, a split shift will be required.
