This private day nursery is located in the heart of Littleborough and is committed to providing high-quality care and education for young children within our local community. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a contracted basis.

About the Role:

As a Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and nurturing environment where children in Littleborough can learn and develop. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing individual and small group support to children, fostering their learning and development.
  2. Observing and recording children's progress, contributing to their individual learning journeys.
  3. Assisting with personal care routines, ensuring the children's well-being and comfort.
  4. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised learning environment.
  5. Working collaboratively with the nursery team and communicating effectively with parents/carers.
  6. Adhering to all nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding.
About You:

The ideal candidate will:

  1. Hold a relevant and recognised Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
  2. Have a genuine passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of their developmental needs.
  3. Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive relationships with children and families in the Littleborough area.
  4. Be a proactive and enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude.
  5. Be able to use their initiative and work effectively under the guidance of the Room Leader and management team.
