Job Description:

A knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate gardener is required for a private home near Chipping Norton. The gardener will have sole charge of all gardening duties within a garden of approximately 1 acre. The candidate should be confident managing an organic vegetable garden and a cutting garden. Flexibility, teamwork, independence, and pride in work are essential qualities.

Responsibilities include:

1. Managing and controlling the vegetable garden, including producing produce for the family kitchen.
2. Managing and controlling the cutting garden, including producing flowers for the house and creating floral displays.
3. Greenhouse and glasshouse management.
4. Maintaining the garden's appearance and tidiness.
5. Reporting maintenance issues and ensuring completion of tasks.

This role is Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. It is a live-out position. Candidates must be drivers with their own cars and should live locally or be willing to relocate and arrange accommodation. Please email [emailprotected] with your CV if interested.
