A competent, family-friendly, and flexible cook is required for a private household near Stow on the Wold. The clients arrive on 7th June; preparation and shopping are needed on 6th June. Accommodation can be provided locally for non-local candidates. A driver with own car is preferred due to the rural location, but not essential.

The same cook is expected to work throughout the duration, with some last-minute lunches/dinners when clients go out. Flexibility to adapt to last-minute requests and varying daily routines is essential.

Typical daily meals include organic, healthy, seasonal produce: breakfast (eggs, fruit, smoothies), lunch (platter salads), and dinner (platter-style, often early around 6/6.30 pm). Sustainability and minimal wastage are priorities. Occasional healthy cakes or snacks are appreciated.

The kitchen is central to the home, with children, adults, dogs, and other staff present. The cook should be friendly, approachable, and comfortable with a lively environment, including making coffee or drinks when requested.
