Overview

The Transformation Manager works within the Transformation & Improvement Directorate as part of a central Operational Excellence Team to develop and provide a focused approach to Project Management, while applying a structured Change Management approach. This role supports transformation projects/programmes using the Directorate’s standard methods and tools. Deployment durations vary with project size and complexity, and the Transformation Manager may be seconded to the Transformation & Improvement Programme Delivery Lead or deputy during deployment. A number of core programme themes are developed, including coordinated plans for timely delivery, handling dependencies with other initiatives, effective deployment of T&I resources to improve business outcomes, stakeholder collaboration across international teams, achievement of required outcomes, and active realisation of benefits. The Transformation Manager provides monthly dashboard reports and communicates changes in scope and expected delivery. They also manage PMO and Change Management tools (e.g., RAIDS logs), record actions, and address programme shortfalls as delegated by the Delivery Programme Lead. The role feeds into governance structures and contributes to additional forums as appropriate to handle project delivery.
