Overview

An opportunity has arisen within our Customer Support and Services business area for a Product Support Manager to ensure delivery of In‑Service Support for the Future Anti‑Surface Guided Weapon (FASGW) (Sea Venom). The successful candidate will take the lead in ensuring all product support activities are planned, managed and delivered in a manner that satisfies our contractual obligations while maintaining MBDA’s reputation throughout the product In‑Service Lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Lead delivery of In‑Service Support for the FASGW (Sea Venom) across the product In‑Service Lifecycle.
  • Plan, manage and deliver all product support activities to satisfy contractual obligations and maintain MBDA’s reputation.
  • Improve programme management skills and develop customer‑facing skills.
  • Promote profile internationally within MBDA.
Qualifications
  • A broad based engineering background; a degree level qualification in a numerate/technical discipline would be beneficial.
  • Substantial knowledge and experience supporting Weapons Systems.
  • Understanding of the technical and logistics requirements of different customers and awareness of their cultures.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders across the business.
  • Passion and commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Prioritisation and ability to deal with multiple issues on a regular basis.
  • Effective planning of support work, from supply chain through to customer delivery.
  • Strategic thinking enabling CSS to support the product through its life cycle.
