Overview

We are on the lookout for a Job Coach to join our Inclusive Futures team. This isn't just a job, it's a chance to be a bridge between education and employment, helping learners take bold steps into the world of work.

This role is available as a 12 month fixed term contract or a permanent basis. Please put in your shortlisting questions section of the application what contract you are after.

Responsibilities
  • Support learners on supported internships to succeed in real-world jobs
  • Coach people internally and externally using Systematic Instruction (think of it as being their workplace superhero!)
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and employers promoting neurodiversity in the workplace
  • Coordinate work placements and make sure every learner is set up for success
  • Keep things organised with accurate records, progress tracking and support plans
Qualifications
  • Have a heart for inclusion and a head of organisation
  • Have empathy, patience and a knack for building trust
  • Have confidence to work with employers, students and families alike
  • Have a belief that education can truly transform lives
  • Experienced in supporting employment or working with young people
  • A Level 2 in English, Maths and ICT (or willing to work towards)
  • A love of teamwork and a can-do attitude
