We are seeking an experienced project coordinator and OISC supervisor (OISC L2, with L3 desirable) or solicitor with equivalent qualifications for an exciting role leading our Open Access immigration advice service for migrants at risk.
Praxis is a dynamic, award-winning human rights charity supporting migrants in crisis or at risk, ensuring their essential human needs are met and helping them overcome barriers. With over 35 years of experience, in 2019 we supported around 2,000 people through expert legal advice, housing, and peer support. Our holistic approach guides people from crisis and destitution towards safety, economic independence, social engagement, and emotional wellbeing.
The post holder will manage and supervise a team of OISC level 2 immigration advisors, providing specialist immigration advice and casework to migrants at risk in London, with a focus on Tower Hamlets residents.
You will coordinate this project to ensure our service reaches those most in need and will handle a small caseload that contributes to our advocacy and campaign efforts.
We are an equal opportunity employer and strongly encourage applications from individuals with lived migration experience and from diverse backgrounds, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marital/civil partnership status, race, religion or belief, sex, sexual orientation, or pregnancy/maternity leave status.
