Job description

Fantastic opportunity to join a supplier of high quality KBB products in an Area Sales Merchandiser role targeting retailers and merchants.

PACKAGE: Salary £30,000 – £35,000 plus 10% OTE, company car, pension and holiday etc.

THE COMPANY: Our client is a leading supplier of KBB products who have a fantastic reputation for products and service. They have been successfully supplying the retail, trade and project markets for a number of years now.

THE JOB: This is a great opportunity for someone looking to pursue a career in field sales within the KBB sector as an Area Sales Merchandiser to support the existing field sales team. Dealing with an established customer base of retail and merchant showrooms across London and Home Counties. This is NOT a full on sales focused role so might suit someone from a KBB showroom who is currently working in a designer capacity but who wants to move into field sales. Duties will involve:

  1. Establish and maintain relationships with clients at store level
  2. Visit stores, promote and train on our products and brand
  3. Participate in industry or promotional events (e.g., trade shows) to cultivate customer relationships
  4. Conduct training in sales techniques and company product attributes
  5. Monitor competition within assigned region
  6. Attend and manage local trade events and trade days
  7. Make sure products are marketed correctly and roll out store POS


LOCATION: London and Home Counties covering Kent, Surrey, East and West Sussex, Middlesex, Essex, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire.

THE PERSON: We are looking for candidates with experience selling a related Bathroom or Kitchen product either in a field sales role or from within a KBB Showroom.
