The Opportunity

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity within our Commercial Merchandising team for an enthusiastic and commercially guided Junior Category Planning Merchandiser to join our team. Ensuring we have the right mix of shows in our Schedule is a vital factor in maximising sales, productivity, and margin here at QVC. It is an exciting challenge, which can be yours?

Your Impact

The Junior Category Planning Merchandiser will organise and support the smooth running of regular meetings with the merchandising and planning teams. You will report to the Category Planning Manager. The Junior Category Planning Merchandiser supports the development and coordination of the optimal TSV mix for their business area and ensuring that the TSV metrics in the Company Roadmap are kept up to date.

What You Bring

  1. Implementation of Brand and Show planning, taking KPIs into account and support of the Merchandising & Planning teams from budget planning to operational implementation.
  2. Development, optimisation and communication of detailed airtime plans for the appropriate live airtime mix (airtime allocation).
  3. Continuous communication with the relevant teams for the development of strategies.
  4. Preparation and evaluation of the development of forecasts.
  5. Support TSV rotation planning for a department and analysis of show and TSV results as well as derivation of corresponding measures and strategies and continuous updating of the company roadmap.
