Summary

We are looking for an experienced, tech-savvy, customer-oriented Atlassian Consultant who will help our clients with installations, configurations, upgrades, and migrations of Atlassian tools, including Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, Confluence, BitBucket, and key third-party add-ons. As an Atlassian Configuration Consultant, you will bring specific delivery skills to your implementation needs. You will provide focused delivery support to implement high-quality solutions iteratively. You will also work closely with the Solution Architect to align on solution planning and delivery.

This role is based in India and would require working UK hours.

What you will do:

1. Setting up new environments to host Atlassian applications, including Server and Data Center
2. Assisting clients with new environment setup based on best practices and recommendations
3. Installations and configurations of new Atlassian applications
4. Upgrades of existing Atlassian applications to the latest versions
5. Migrations of existing Atlassian applications from existing to new environments
6. Consolidations of multiple Atlassian applications and environments
7. Migrations from third-party tools into Atlassian applications
8. Migrations to/from Atlassian Cloud
9. Installations and configurations of external authentication systems, such as AD, LDAP, SAML, SSO, OKTA, OneLogin, etc.
10. Installations and configurations of third-party add-ons for Atlassian tools to provide enhanced capabilities
11. Providing support to client administrators and users to ensure the success of implemented solutions
12. Troubleshooting various issues and problems and designing creative technical solutions

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 4 years of experience with configuration and administration of Atlassian Products
• Hands-on experience setting up, managing, upgrading, and migrating Atlassian tools in Server and Data Center environments
• Experience consolidating multiple Atlassian environments
• Experience migrating Atlassian tools to/from Atlassian Cloud
• Prior system administration experience and understanding of concepts like networking, access, storage, database, resource management
• Ability to analyze and review current environments to identify improvements
• Conceptual and practical knowledge of SDLC and Agile frameworks
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively interact with internal and external customers
• Strong work ethic and ability to work with diverse teams across different time zones, independently with minimal guidance in a fast-changing environment

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience
