Job summary

Jigsaw Homes Group is seeking a Clerk of Works to join our Development Team in the North West/East Midlands. You will provide on-site inspections, review technical specs and materials, and ensure contractor works meet contract requirements across new homes for rent and sale.

You will collaborate with Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors to safeguard quality and delivery, supporting our mission to create sustainable communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in Clerk of Works or site inspection roles.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance on construction sites.
• Ability to review technical specifications and materials.

Responsibilities

• Inspect works on site and assess contractor performance against contract information.
• Provide inspections and professional advice to Project Managers and QSs.
• Support delivery of quality, affordable homes across the region.

Role information:

We have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our Development Team.

As Clerk of Works, you will be responsible for a number of new build sites for both rent and sale across the North West. With a strong pipeline of multiple housing projects all at varying stages of design and construction, you will provide crucial Clerk of Works services both during and after the development process to support the delivery of quality assurance in building projects.

You will work with our Project Managers and Consultant Quantity Surveyors to provide professional inspections advice, review technical and material specifications, inspect works on site and make sure that standards of work and the materials supplied by contractors meet with the contract information.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be a flexible thinker and effective communicator who can make sound recommendations to ensure we deliver much-needed, quality homes that will make a real difference to our communities.
