Job summary

Diamonds Factory in Birmingham is hiring an experienced Jewellery Setter to join our busy workshop. The role offers a salary up to £35,000 per year, with a requirement of a minimum of three years’ experience in micro-setting and a wide range of other setting styles.

Most work is completed under a microscope on both collection pieces and bespoke designs. You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-end retail environment, contributing to a collaborative team and ensuring exceptional craftsmanship across

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of jewellery setting experience.
• Proficiency in micro-setting and multiple setting styles.
• Skilled in claw-setting – talon, ball and related techniques.
• Strong organisation and ability to prioritise tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Good communication and teamwork in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Micro-setting and other setting styles to a high standard.
• Setting stones across various styles including channel and fishtail settings.
• Work on collection pieces and bespoke, one-off items.
• Manage workload to meet customer deadlines.
• Maintain precision and attention to detail throughout all work.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative workshop atmosphere.
