Our client is seeking an experienced JD Edwards (JDE) Application Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience with the JDE platform, with a proven track record in designing, developing, and implementing business applications.

The role involves developing interfaces between JD Edwards and external systems, and creating solutions for mobile platforms across Windows, Android, and iOS.

Key Skills and Experience:

• ERP Expertise: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on ERP implementation experience across multiple JD Edwards modules.
• Integration Skills: Strong experience with Business Services and Orchestrator.
• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of JSON/REST services (desirable).
• Programming Knowledge: Proficiency in object-oriented languages such as C# and C.
• Database Skills: Experience with SQL databases like SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle; IBM i experience is a plus.
• JDE Toolset Knowledge: Proficiency with JD Edwards Oracle EnterpriseOne, version Xe or higher.
• Additional Technical Skills: Familiarity with UBE’s, NER’s, C#/.NET, Java, and Windows CE development.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop features and enhancements for JD Edwards and related systems.
• Design and maintain interfaces between JDE and other systems, mainly using C# and .NET.
• Develop and support mobile applications for Android devices, especially for warehousing and operations.
• Manage data in SQL Server and DB2 databases.
• Create and maintain JSON/REST services and Windows services.
• Integrate JD Edwards with third-party software.
• Produce technical documentation and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting.
• Engage in server-side programming on IBM i (AS/400) systems.

Location: Remote UK

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
