Job summary

Tempur Sealy International is seeking a JavaScript Developer to join our development team in Uxbridge. You will contribute to customer-facing web applications spanning frontend and backend code, delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions in a fast-moving environment.

You will own features end-to-end, collaborate with designers and product owners, and work with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/SFRA) or similar platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+) in a commercial setting.
• Exposure to Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC)/SFRA or similar enterprise eCommerce platforms.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS and responsive design principles.
• Experience with React and component-based frontend architectures.
• Experience with Node.js and Express for server-side development.
• Experience with APIs and asynchronous programming patterns.
• Familiar with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments.
• Quality-focused mindset with attention to performance, usability, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain JavaScript-based eCommerce (SFCC) applications with a focus on quality, performance, and reliability.
• Build reusable, maintainable components following modern web development practices.
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to deliver accessible, responsive user experiences.
• Integrate with APIs, third-party services, and eCommerce platform capabilities.
• Take responsibility for features end-to-end, including implementation, review, and iterative improvements.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
