Job summary

OneAPPS Consulting is seeking an experienced React Developer to join a high-performing software engineering team supporting a global financial services organization. You will design, develop and enhance responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript in an Agile environment.

You will work on data-driven web applications, contribute to code quality and performance, and collaborate with product, engineering and other stakeholders to deliver innovative digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong Front End engineering experience in Agile product development environments.
• Experience designing responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript.
• Experience building data-driven UIs and forms and consuming RESTful APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modern, scalable web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build dynamic, data-driven user interfaces and forms, including JSON Schema-based forms.
• Develop reusable React components with functional patterns and React Hooks.
• Integrate Front End applications with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Write and maintain high-quality code aligning with industry standards and compliance requirements.
• Write automated tests using React Testing Library or similar frameworks.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Identify and implement web performance optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and stakeholders in an Agile delivery environment.
• Mentor and support engineering team members as required.
• Strong commercial experience in UI/Front End development.
• Excellent hands-on experience with React JS and TypeScript.
• Experience with React Hooks and functional components architecture.
• Experience with Redux and/or Context API.
• Experience with JSON and web service technologies.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and enhancing responsive user interfaces using React and TypeScript, while contributing to high standards of code quality, performance, security and maintainability.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong Front End engineering experience who enjoys working in an Agile product development environment and wants to contribute to innovative digital solutions within a globally recognised financial services business.
