Job summary

SJIT in London is seeking a Mid / Senior Java Web Engineer to help build a modular, end-to-end trade management platform. The role is based in City of London with three days onsite per week, offering hands-on work across backend services and web UI.

You will collaborate with architects and frontend developers, using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and React, in an Agile Linux environment. 4–8+ years of experience and a proactive, delivery-focused mindset are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong Java (21+ preferred), Spring Boot 3.x, and REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of React (v17).
• SQL / PostgreSQL, Git, and Maven or Gradle.
• 4-8+ years' software engineering experience.
• Comfortable in Agile teams and Linux/Unix environments.
