Job summary

Zensar Technologies is seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications in London. The role combines hands-on Java expertise with solution design and strong team leadership to enable successful delivery and modernization initiatives.

Ideal candidates will have deep Java (17+), Spring Framework, RESTful API experience, and be familiar with Power Platform integrations to automate business processes.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Maven/Gradle, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support experience.
• Experience leading development teams and managing technical delivery.
• Understanding/ Experience in Power Platform

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Java-based applications and services.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define application architecture, coding standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards of quality, performance, and security.
• Support application modernization, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Support Power Platform Apps.
• Mentor developers and drive technical excellence within the team.
