Job summary

Winston Fox in London is seeking a Java Software Engineer with 3–5 years of post-graduate experience to join a core Software Engineering team. You will work on front-to-back office systems, including Order Management, Trading, Risk and Finance, primarily in Java with Python, SQL and MATLAB as secondary skills.

The role requires strong CS fundamentals, exposure to CI/CD, and excellent communication. Salary is circa £80–90K with a competitive benefits package and a Management Incentive Scheme;

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional Java experience.
• Strong CS fundamentals (OOA/OOD, concurrency).
• Experience with CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop core front-to-back office applications (Order Management, Trading, Risk, Finance).
• Collaborate with business users to capture requirements and design solutions.
• Take ownership of analysis, design, architecture, and implementation in Java and related tech.
