Java Software Engineer (Front Office Infrastructure)

Salary: £150k-200k

Total compensation: £250k-400k dependent on seniority and performance

I am partnered with a global quant trading firm looking for a Front Office Software Engineer to join their Central Risk team in London.

Work covers a unified risk platform that spans businesses and asset classes, enabling greater flexibility and improving efficiency across the firm.

For this role, you'll work on the underlying infrastructure on which the financial models sit on top of.

The role covers the platforms, services, APIs and data pipelines that support risk computations, analytics, and reporting across all asset classes and strategies.

Role responsibilities:

The firm is looking for experience across large-scale data infrastructure and distributed systems to ensure minimal downtime and data loss.

Finance experience but is not a necessity.
