Java Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Backend Java Developer to join our growing team working on cutting-edge video streaming solutions. You’ll play a key role in designing and implementing robust backend services with a strong focus on CMS integration and optimization. This is a high-impact position with a lot of autonomy and growth potential.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Java
• Develop and optimize APIs for video streaming workflows and CMS integrations
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to ensure seamless delivery
• Optimize performance for high-load media delivery systems
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmaps
• Ensure code quality with best practices in testing, CI/CD, and documentation

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience
• Hands-on experience with video streaming platforms (live or VOD)
• Strong knowledge of CMS architecture and integration (e.g., headless CMS, custom solutions)
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend scalability
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)

Nice to Have:

• Experience with media encoding, DRM, or video delivery networks (CDNs)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or Terraform
• Previous remote work experience in an agile team
