Requires a Lead Java developer with strong Java experience to create and implement solutions for our portfolio of Biometric products, as well as supporting live systems and diagnosing incidents.

Essential Skills and Experience:

1. Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring DataJPA, Spring Integration, Spring Batch, Microservices, Quartz, SQL Database (PostgreSQL), JPA (Hibernate), REST and SOAP Web Services, Messaging (ActiveMQ), Maven, Junit, Jenkins, AWS Cloud hosting and its components, Postgres/Aurora, Bootstrap, Docker, TDD, Agile (Scrum), Jaspersoft, Spring extension projects (Data, Cloud, Batch, Security), Angular.
2. 8-10 years of hands-on experience with large-scale Spring-based Java projects.
3. Experience supporting live systems and diagnosing incidents.
4. Experience in large-scale integration projects involving microservices, messaging, web services, and distributed systems.
5. Experience with web services - SOAP and RESTful.
6. Experience with containerization (Docker).
7. Experience with testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock, JMock, DBUnit, TestContainers.
8. Experience connecting processes across systems with message brokers like ActiveMQ.
9. Experience with Continuous Integration tools – Maven, GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Stash Repository.
10. Experience developing in a Linux environment.
11. Experience working with Atlassian suite of products.
12. Experience with open-source databases like PostgreSQL.
13. Experience with AWS services: EC2, SQS, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, Route53, KMS, CloudWatch.
14. Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
15. Experience with Spring Cloud.
16. Experience working with Postfix.
17. Experience using monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
18. Ability to create a cohesive working environment and build high-performing teams.
