Roles and Responsibilities
  • Project Orchestration: Spearhead multiple projects from conception through to deployment, demonstrating exceptional technical acumen and project management proficiency.
  • Mentorship & Development: Serve as a mentor and guide for junior engineers, promoting their professional progression and fostering a collaborative, knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Technical Directive Setting: Play a crucial part in devising our engineering methodologies and defining the technical roadmap of our software systems, aligning them with industry best practices.
  • Quality Code Delivery: Uphold the highest standards of quality, maintainability, and efficiency in all developed code. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure optimal software performance.
  • Intricate Problem Resolution: Address and solve complex technical issues, leveraging your profound understanding of Java and web technologies.

Leadership and Team Experience
  • Problem-Solving Capabilities: Present a clear track record of tackling and resolving intricate technical problems, showcasing excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Agile & Cloud Expertise: Show experience in Agile methodologies and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, with a proven ability to develop scalable and robust cloud solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Possess superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Technical Expertise
  • Java/JEE Application Development: Display extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Java/JEE technology stack, including Java/Java-based frameworks and web development using languages like Ruby, Python, or Groovy.
  • Java Framework Experience: Verify expertise in developing applications using Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, Struts, JSF, and demonstrate understanding of transaction management, Java object management, and enterprise integration needs.
  • Dependency Injection Understanding: Exhibit a thorough comprehension of dependency injection and inversion of control principles.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD).
  • Understanding of security principles in software development.
