Capgemini is seeking an hands‑on AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy AI and Generative AI solutions that move client ambitions to measurable outcomes. You'll work across frontend, backend, cloud and data layers, translating complex problems into secure, scalable production systems.
You will collaborate with stakeholders across offices, client sites, and remote work, contributing to secure, observable, and governable software while following DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
This role sits within Capgemini's Financial Services Business Unit as part of the Cloud & Custom Applications (C&CA) Practice - our motto is "consult with purpose, continuously evolve, and architect tomorrow".
We're building a new generation of engineers who combine strong technical capability with curiosity, clear communication, a thirst for new knowledge - and a practical understanding of applied AI.
This is a hands-on engineering role, but it also requires the ability to understand the people using the technology. You'll need to listen well, ask relevant questions, and be able to explain- and present your thinking clearly to different stakeholders. As a hands‑on AI Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy real‑world AI and Generative AI solutions that turn client ambition into measurable outcomes. You'll work directly with stakeholders, shape practical AI‑enabled workflows, and translate complex problems into secure, scalable, and production‑ready solutions-helping clients move confidently from experimentation to enterprise adoption.
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
