We're Hiring: Java Developer(s) | £50-80K + Benefits – Hybrid - Shropshire

Join a leading digital consultancy that's reshaping how great software gets built. If you're driven by curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning, they will want to talk to you.

This role is hybrid with the requirement to attend the office on average, 2 days per week. My client is looking for several Developers, ranging from Mid-Senior, hence the wide ranging salary bracket listed above.

To be successful with your application, you must be able/willing to get to the office 2 days per week and be eligible to undergo SC clearance.

What You'll Do

1. Build robust, scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot
2. Deliver high-quality code through TDD, BDD, and pair programming
3. Create and maintain RESTful APIs and asynchronous services
4. Get hands-on with the DevSecOps lifecycle from development to deployment and monitoring
5. Collaborate with analysts, designers, and fellow engineers in Agile teams
6. Contribute to a culture of innovation, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement

What You Bring

1. Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, and integration frameworks
2. Solid grasp of TDD, unit testing, and CI/CD practices
3. Experience building synchronous and asynchronous microservices
4. Familiarity with Spring JPA, SQL/NoSQL databases
5. (Bonus) Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and security best practices
