As a Java Full Stack Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the CORPORATE DATA & ANALYTICS SERVICE, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm’s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will execute software solutions through the design, development, and troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, gaining skills to grow within your role.

Job Responsibilities

1. Execute standard software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot.
2. Write secure, high-quality code in at least one programming language with limited guidance.
3. Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot considering system implications.
4. Use SDLC tools to improve automation and efficiency.
5. Apply troubleshooting skills to resolve basic technical problems.
6. Analyze large data sets to identify problems and support decision-making.
7. Learn and apply system processes and methodologies for secure, stable code development.
8. Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

1. Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and practical experience.
2. Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
3. Proficiency in one or more programming languages and database querying languages.
4. Ability to code in Java, Spring Boot, etc.
5. Experience across the entire SDLC.
6. Exposure to agile methodologies like CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
7. Emerging knowledge of cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
• Exposure to cloud technologies.
