YOUR ROLE

Our DV Cleared Java Full Stack Engineers are responsible for creating the visions of our clients and driving better business outcomes. They build cutting-edge digital solutions, combining a clear understanding of business value with a consultative approach. Projects involve technologies such as NodeJS, Kotlin, Spring Boot, RESTful microservices, and NoSQL databases.

Within Digital Factory, part of Capgemini Invent's Business Technology practice, we lead digital transformation projects. We value innovation, professional development, and making a real difference for our clients. We work in diverse, multidisciplinary teams closely with clients.

YOUR PROFILE

To be considered for this role you must:

• Hold active Developed Vetting (DV) clearance
• Be willing to work on-site in Central London
• Be willing to participate in a 24/7 on-call rota

Required Skills:

• Extensive experience building microservices with Java (Spring Boot); NodeJS as a bonus
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript for front-end development using React, HTML, CSS
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins
• Experience with Git, Docker, Docker Compose
• Experience working in agile teams

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) or SQL databases (Postgres)
• Familiarity with Apache NiFi
• Knowledge of web standards and accessibility

Bonus Skills:

• Building microservices in C# with .NET
• Integrating solutions with LLMs using tools like Vercel AI, Langchain
