Job summary

Bruin in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer for a 12-month contract to build scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications in an agile team. You’ll design and implement full stack apps using Java, Spring Boot and React or Angular, develop microservices on AWS, and collaborate with architects and stakeholders.

Onsite in Glasgow with a fast start and modern tech such as Kubernetes and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong Java 17+ and Spring Boot experience.
• AWS.
• Kafka.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• CI/CD (Git, Jenkins) and monitoring/observability tools.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building full stack applications with Java, Spring Boot and React or Angular.
• Developing secure, scalable microservices and REST APIs.
• Working with cloud-native technologies on AWS.
• Collaborating with architects, BAs and stakeholders.
• Code reviews, testing, performance tuning and production support.
