Fiser Group in Glasgow is seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer for a 12-month contract to build scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications. You will work in an agile team to deliver robust microservices, REST APIs and frontend in React or Angular.

The role focuses on Java 17+, Spring Boot, AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, and modern data stores. Strong collaboration with architects and stakeholders is essential, along with commitment to code quality and automated testing.

Competenze

• Strong Java 17+ and Spring Boot experience.
• Microservices architecture experience.
• React or Angular with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3 is needed.

Java Full Stack Developer | 12-Month Contract

We're looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer for a 12-month contract building scalable, cloud-native enterprise applications in an agile team.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and building full stack applications with Java, Spring Boot and React or Angular
• Developing secure, scalable microservices and REST APIs
• Working with cloud-native technologies on AWS
• Collaborating with architects, BAs and stakeholders
• Code reviews, testing, performance tuning and production support

What you'll need

• Strong Java 17+ and Spring Boot experience
• Microservices architecture
• React or Angular, plus JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• AWS
• Kafka
• Docker and Kubernetes
• SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• CI/CD (Git, Jenkins) and monitoring/observability tools

Nice to have

• Banking or financial services experience
• OAuth2/JWT and API security
• Terraform or CloudFormation
