The overall objective of this role is to contribute to the continuous development of a strategic data application within the ISG Data Solutions group.

By joining the Exceptions Master Central (XMC) team, you will work with the latest technologies and interact with stakeholders from across the bank, enabling Citi to succeed in delivering value for our clients, while playing a key role in our data governance and data quality strategy.

This role involves working on a best-in-class system that acts as the strategic source for client reference data across the enterprise, enhancing its capabilities and data in line with business and regulatory requirements.

XMC offers services including data analytics, reporting, dashboards, rules-based decision engines, database management, and data governance tooling, focusing on user experience and outcome-based delivery.

The Java/Full Stack Developer is an intermediate position responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The main goal is to contribute to systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, IT planning, risk assessment, applications development, and model development; establish and implement new or revised applications systems to meet business needs.
• Monitor and control all phases of development, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation; provide user and operational support.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems, evaluate business and system processes, and make judgments.
• Recommend and develop security measures based on post-implementation analysis to ensure system success.
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups; recommend advanced programming solutions; assist with customer exposure systems.
• Ensure procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes.
• Serve as an advisor or coach to junior analysts.
• Operate with limited supervision, exercising judgment and autonomy.
• Act as SME to stakeholders and team members.

Qualifications:

• Experience in systems analysis and software application programming.
• Recent experience designing and developing enterprise-scale applications using Java/J2EE, Angular/React JS, Oracle, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
• Experience in successfully delivering projects.
• Ability to adapt priorities quickly.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
