Job summary

Experis is seeking a Java Engineer to join a major digital transformation programme in a large-scale technology environment. The role is based in Telford with a minimum of 2 days on-site per week, offering a daily rate of £600.00–£620.00 inside IR35 for a 6-month duration.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain Java applications, design scalable Spring Boot services, and work within an Agile Scrum team to deliver modernised legacy systems.

Qualifications

• Experience developing Java applications in a commercial setting.
• Proficient with Spring Boot and JUnit.
• Experience in Agile teams.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with automated testing approaches.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications with modern practices.
