A leading global technology firm is looking for an experienced Java Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract in Dublin. You will develop applications and microservices using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and work with both front-end and back-end technologies such as Angular and React. Java Engineer Data/Full stack Contract Dublin 12 Months. My client a leading global name is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Java engineer with experience of data bricks and UI (Full stack Angular) to join them on a contract basis for 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
• Develop Java-based applications using Spring Boot, Spring Batch, React and Micro-Services architecture.
• Work with Business/Systems Analysts and Quality Engineers in a behavioural driven development environment.
• Be able to work with UI and backend layers as a Full Stack Developer (Angular/React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Collaborate with Agile teams and participate in continuous improvement.
• Work with data storage technologies including SQL, Hadoop, Snowflake, Mongo.
• Develop Microservices in a Cloud-based environment.
• Utilise continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
• Utilise PCF or other similar cloud environments.
• Experience in J2EE Web Applications/Web Services with JBoss & WebSphere.
• Strong knowledge of the Spring Framework.
• Experience with Databricks and Apache NiFi is a plus.
