Key Responsibilities

You will be working with a squad responsible for the delivery, maintenance, and support of CDL products in the Finance domain. You will be closely involved in projects to migrate some of those products to the cloud as well as providing support and feature enhancements adhering to a product delivery roadmap.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
  • Experience of unit and integration testing
  • Version control system (Git)
  • Build Tools (Gradle or Maven)
Highly Desirable
  • Significant experience with AWS or similar cloud platform
  • UI development with Wicket or similar web application framework
  • Working knowledge of Gitlab or GitHub
  • Experience with infrastructure as code
  • Experience with TDD
  • Experience with React and Typescript
  • Working knowledge of Kibana, Terraform
  • Experience of AI tools such as Amazon Q developer
Experience of processing financial transactions and/or the insurance industry would be advantageous.

Salary

The salary for the role of Java Engineer with Cloud Experience (Level 3) pays within our pay banding of £27,500 to £46,000, providing a fantastic opportunity for career progression through CDL’s clearly defined career framework (https://progression.cdl.co.uk/).
