Job summary

HireHi is seeking a skilled Java backend developer to build scalable server-side applications for Capital Markets FX trading. You'll work with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, delivering secure RESTful APIs and microservices.

Collaboration with QA, BI analysts, and frontend teams is essential, with an emphasis on performance tuning and robust design. The role is based in London with a hybrid arrangement (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) for a six-month engagement, Inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience building server-side applications, RESTful APIs, and microservices using Java.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring Data JPA.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate ORM for database integration.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman and agile methodologies.

• £400 Per day (Inside IR35)
• £308.33 Daily ACR, plus £37.21 daily holiday pay
• Equivalent annual salary: £80,164.68 (including holiday paid upfront)

• London; 3 days at the client location and 2 days working from home
