Job summary

Bangura Solutions is seeking a long-term Java Developer for a UKIC DV-cleared role on a secure programme. You’ll work on broad development tasks spanning frontend (Vue/React/Angular) and backend Core Java, focusing on secure, maintainable web applications.

Ideal candidates have deep experience in development, integration and maintenance of secure systems, with Agile practices, Linux environments, and familiarity with Docker, GitLab, CI/CD, MongoDB, AWS, and microservices.

Qualifications

• Experience building secure web applications in Java.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (Vue/React/Angular) and backend Core Java.
• Experience with Agile development and Linux environments.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, AWS, microservices or cloud-native development is advantageous.
• Self-starting, able to hit the ground running and learn quickly.
• UKIC DV cleared or eligible for DV clearance.

Responsibilities

Job description

Long-term Java Developer role available for a UKIC DV Cleared individual.

Working on a secure programme, this will be a broad development role that will give you an opportunity to develop cutting edge web applications - frontend (Vue/React or Angular) and backend (Core Java). Suited candidates will have a deep experience in developing, integrating, and maintaining secure web applications.

You will have good version control, code reviews, and secure development practices, having worked within an Agile environment. You will also have good experience with Linux based environments. Any experience of MongoDB, GitLab, CI/CD, Docker, AWS, microservices or cloud-native development would be advantageous. For candidates without this experience, this contract role will offer the opportunity to build on these skills.

This role requires a self-starting Java Developer who can hit the ground running and who thrives in consistent learning, picking up enhanced software development approaches to solutions built.
