The Equity Finance Technology team is seeking a development role for the Trading application in London. The role involves working with technologists across geographical locations and delivering technical solutions. It requires strong Java expertise and the ability to collaborate with traders to build business solutions through agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business and system processes according to industry standards.
  • Provide expertise in application programming and ensure design aligns with architecture.
  • Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation based on system flow knowledge.
  • Gain comprehensive understanding of how business areas like architecture and infrastructure work together to meet goals.
  • Analyze issues deeply and develop innovative solutions.
  • Mentor mid-level developers and analysts, assigning work as needed.
  • Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, safeguarding Citigroup's reputation, and managing control issues transparently.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in system analysis and software development.
  • Proven success in managing and implementing projects.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one application development area.
  • Ability to adapt priorities quickly.
