Java Developer - Digitalising the banking space | £90k

Our client, a major retail and commercial bank, is focusing on generative AI to enhance customer communication, drive technical excellence, and foster innovation. They are seeking multiple Java engineers to join their team.
As a Java engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing microservices-based services and API gateway solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex issues according to technical specifications, enabling the engineering teams to build robust API applications. You will also work within a cross-functional team to meet project milestones and exceed client expectations.
The current technology stack includes Java, JavaScript, REST APIs, OpenShift, CI/CD, Red Hat, and AI/GenAI for security.
The salary for this role can reach up to £90k, plus benefits such as medical and dental cover, holiday buy and sell options, and life insurance. The interview process is quick.
